[UNFORTUNATELY, THE LAST BOWLING ALLEY CLOSED IN SUMMER 2022]
Bowling! It’s so much fun and you can enjoy bowling in Chiang Mai
Located inside the ancient yet lovable mall, Kad Suan Kaew (now Central Outlet Mall), Bully Bowl is holding on as the last bowling alley in Chiang Mai. Use it or lose it as they say!
It’s such a relaxed place and lots of fun, so be sure to check it out. It’s so much fun for the whole family.

Get bowling at Bully Bowl Chiang Mai
Your first mission to go bowling in Chiang Mai, will be to find the damn place. Kad Suan Kaew (Central Outlet) Mall is a maze and with Covid causing certain entrances to be blocked off or closed, it’s become much more of a challenge.
So how to get to Bully Bowl in Chiang Mai?!
The easiest way to find it is once you are parked and have entered the mall, start to walk towards the side of the mall that faces Huay Kaew Road where Tops is. You’ll then want to take the set of elevators that are closet to that end up to the movie theatre. It is clearly marked on the elevator buttons.
Upon exiting the elevator, walk straight past the movie theatre. Keep going. It will be all sorts of empty, but keep going! Yup… keep going and then there it is in all it’s 90’s glory!
Sure it’s a bit of a dump, but it’s perfect that way. You can be completely normal here and have ridiculous fun. Some people do take their bowling quite seriously, but just play a couple lanes away from them!
Once you arrive just walk up to the counter and they will ask how many players, what your names will be and which lane(s) you’d like and set it all up for you.
If you didn’t bring socks (bring socks!) you can purchase them for 20 baht a pair. Bowling shoe rentals are only 30 baht.
The games are really affordable too, as is the food AND they serve beer! We recommend getting a tower.
Now the bowling balls are the big ones. There are no small balls for kids BUT they do have this fantastic tool! Check this out:
Awesome, right?!
There are also no bumpers… but the kids have so much fun anyways and parents too. It’s so affordable for a family budget you will find yourselves here again and again.
Another cool thing about Bully Bowl is at night, this happens:
The entire place turns into disco bowling! They sometimes even have a DJ but if not they actually play a pretty good playlist of music to keep the energy going.
Bowling in Chiang Mai should be on your to do list! You’ll love it.
