Splish, splash the kids will have a blast swimming Woodfield Resort Chiang Mai
Stay close to town at a resort made for kids who love to swim! The rooms are really nice too and there’s also an on site spa.

Why should you choose to stay at Woodfield Resort Chiang Mai?
Not to worry! The water isn’t green, the pool tiles are. A really poor choice of colour if you ask me as you’ll forever be wondering if the pool is full of algae – it’s not!
The swimming pool
To be completely honest with you, the only reasons to stay here are one, the amazing pool, and the location. The swimming pool is the only one in Chiang Mai to have that beach feel to it as you casually walk in as if it is a real beach. This makes for easy swimming for infants and toddlers who are just learning to splash around. Other kids love it because they can beach themselves like whales or mermaids.
There’s a water slide!
The water slide is actually higher than this photo makes it look and your kids will no doubt be going down it over and over again. Tons of fun this slide is and with hardly any pools in Chiang Mai having water slides, you’ll be the lucky ones!
Jacuzzi time
Parents, you weren’t forgotten about! This huge Jacuzzi can fit about 20 people and has a near perfectly clear view of the entire pool so you can safely keep an eye on your kids while you get that well deserved water massage.
There’s a fitness and massage centre
For those fit parents out there (how do you find the time on holiday, I’ll never know), there’s a state of the art fitness centre. If sweating isn’t your thing, then stop by for a massage. The fitness and spa centre are located right next to the swimming pool.
The rooms are nice
Now we haven’t actually stayed overnight here, but when it was open to the public we would swim and eat here all the time. Each room looks over the pool and has a private balcony. Woodfield has recently built a treehouse room which sounds pretty cool, but it’s only for couples. There are other rooms kind of tucked away at the back of the resort which are nice if you want a quieter experience. Being next to the pool is sure to get noisy!
Room prices
It’s best to research prices for Woodfield Resort here or contact them directly because prices change with the seasons. Expect to pay more in the high season, and less in the off season.

Is the food good at Woodfield Resort?
Again, we haven’t stayed here and the last time we ate here was well over a year ago. At that time the food was mediocre at best. Hopefully since going ‘private’ they’ve upped the ante in the food department. If you stay here, let us know how it was!

Where is Woodfield Resort?
Location on Google Maps.
Woodfield Resort is only 15 minutes from the centre of town making it a very convenient place to stay. We suggest that if you are visiting, you may want to rent a car, hire a songtaew, or take a taxi to get here. Otherwise, get that GPS out and get driving!
