Enjoy a lovely meal at Mira Cuisine Restaurant near downtown Chiang Mai – swim, eat, mini-golf, stay and play!
Mira Cuisine offers far more than just good eats. It also has a pool, mini-golf, a playground and more! It really is a gem that we highly recommend for many reasons.
There are also plenty of other pools to check out in Chiang Mai too.
The swimming pool at Mira Cuisine Restaurant
The pool at Mira Cuisine is very kid-friendly. They have a kiddy pool section, flutter boards and even floaties! There were quite a few little ones when we were there enjoying the fairly shallow kid’s pool.
The main pool is quite long. You could do laps in it if that’s your thing! The water is chlorinated but wasn’t strong and didn’t sting the eyes. Along the side of the pool are lounge chairs with umbrellas to keep the sun off and a table where you can take your drinks or meal by the pool. It really is a lovely a relaxing setting.
Mini-golf and playground
In addition to a great pool, there’s also a two hole mini-golf course with putters and lots of golf balls to hit around! The kids were going back and forth from the pool to here, getting all sweaty and then jumping back in the pool.
There was also a small bicycle perfect for a toddler to ride around on, but you’d have to watch out as the parking lot is right next to the kids’ area. For parents, there was a shaded area with tables and chairs so you could watch the kids. This is really necessary as the only fault of Mira Cuisine is that you can’t see the play area from the pool nor the pool from the play area.
Then of course there is the playground! There were some kids about 10 years old playing on it so it’s not just for little kids. It was partially in the shade, but it could get quite hot at certain times during the day.
Food and drinks
The food is SO affordable and absolutely delicious. They have such a mix of food from Ramen, to curries, Dim Sum, to Thai food, to Western food. With three of us eating plus the cost of the pool, the total bill came to just over 400 baht. Outstanding value, really! The meat also happens to be Halal and the owners and staff were so professional and lovely.
Seating area
The restaurant seating area is actually quite small but air conditioned. You could also sit by the pool if you wished. What’s great is that they cater to kids! They had a high chair and plastic dishes for my toddler.
Stay at Mira Residence and Resort
Not only can enjoy the day here, but you can stay here at Mira Residence and Resort! I would recommend this resort to families coming to visit as they have enormous family rooms right by the pool. They also have rooms in the building across from the parking lot. If you are looking to stay short term or even longer term, you can rent out the rooms here too!

How to get to Mira Cuisine Restaurant and pool?
Located just near the train station, Grab is the easiest solution if you don’t have your own transportation. Of course you could also songtaew it or take a taxi as well.
To drive here by yourself, you’ll want to head towards the river towards the train station. Have GPS on is a good bet as the streets are small and wind around. Mira Cuisine is accessible from either a very small soi (our car couldn’t fit) or from a regular sized laneway. There is a parking lot on site so no need to worry about finding a spot!
