A Lovely Place for Breakfast in Chiang Mai

Located between the Superhighway and the northern side of the moat, Early Owls is a truly beautiful setting somehow just a few kilometres from downtown Chiang Mai!

Seating

This is the kind of setting where you’d prefer to be outside, especially if you are here in the morning for breakfast. Early Owls offers umbrellas to cover from the sun and rain. The deck gives a lovely view of the huge landscaped grounds.

If you prefer there is some intimate indoor seating, but it’s not really easy to fit a family inside so it is best to sit outside or avoid going on rainy days.

A great place to take family portraits in Chiang Mai

In fact, Early Owls is extremely popular with expert and armature photographers! There have always been many when we’ve gone honing their skills on the lush greenery and scenery.

Explore

As mentioned the grounds of Early Owls just seem to go on and on. There are pathways to navigate and places to explore. There is also a pond that you may need to watch out for if you have little ones.

This appears to be some sort of conference hall that looks gorgeous. Due to the size of this place you will need to keep kids from wandering off. Although to the left of this photo is a spot teenagers would probably naturally amble over to congregate in for some teen time.

Food and Drinks

Now I know I mentioned breakfast. Just look are delicious that looks! Early Owls offers other breakfast choices as well including kid friendly options. The prices what I recall were not unreasonable.

When we were there it was lunch and their lunch options are just wonderful, although the portion size seems small. It’s probably a proper portion, but we are used to American sized everything nowadays, aren’t we?! 

The coffee was nothing more than okay. This is the case where the food is actually better!
