Brick Box Pool Villa – an incredible place to stay with kids in Doi Saket, Chiang Mai
Brick Box was recommended to us by a friend when we were looking for an AirBnb style staycation. It also just happens to have a fantastic and gorgeous café open to the public. The resort is comprised of multiple private homes, and some cozy brick cabin style homes overlooking a nice pond.
All of the private homes have their own private pool. You feel secluded and private making Brick Box Pool Villas a perfect place for families to let loose!

Why you should stay at Brick Box or visit the cafe
I mean, ^ that says it all, doesn’t it! That view is absolutely stunning. Not only that, but Brick Box is metres away from the Doi Saket Hot Spring. So if you are just coming to enjoy the café or to stay overnight, the hot springs are just up the road!
The cafe
This is another vantage point from the Brick Box Cafe. You can walk the walkway over onto t large grassy area perfect for running around on or playing football (you’d have to bring your own ball though). From there you can go on a nice walk to see the resort property.
Or you can take the kids for a paddle in the ‘glass bottom’ canoe! The pond is very shallow so you don’t need to worry about kids falling in, but it’s always safe for the kids to know how to swim in case they do fall in.
You can hang out by the café pondside while the kids paddle, or of course you can too! There also another chill-out area above and to the right of this photo that is really nice and relaxing.
The pool villas
If there ever was a kid friendly hotel room, this is it, am I right?! Other rooms are similar is set up but not all have the kids area. Some rooms have multiple beds in them making Brick Box Resort a great place to stay with your bestie family friends.
This is the interior of one of the pool villas. There’s plenty of space both inside and outside for everyone to hang out. There are TV’s too, but we never needed to turn ours on as the kids were having too much fun in the pool.
The swimming pools
As mentioned, each villa comes with its own swimming pool! Each pool is different and all are awesome! There is also plenty of patio furniture to lounge in and some houses also have BBQ’s. All have fully stocked and working kitchens as well if you wanted to cook, which you might need to do.
The only downside to Brick Box is that they have no restaurant open for dinner. The café is however open for breakfast and lunch. There are local restaurants you can order food from and be aware Grab, Lineman, Tuk apps all do not work out here.
